Canaletto 1697 - 1768, The River Thames with St. Paul's Cathedral on Lord Mayor's Day, c.1747-8
This pocket square is based on a stunning work from Canaletto of the River Thames on Lord Mayor’s Day. St Paul’s looms over the scene and becomes a focal point for the viewer and so we’ve chosen to make this the centrepiece of our crop, a stunning building produced in exquisite detail and an iconic landmark that we’re proud to display on this hand rolled silk pocket square.
The wonderful thing about printed paintings on pocket squares is that they can produce a number of different effects depending on how they are folded and creates a great topic for conversation once pulled out of the breast pocket.
